Key Account Manager – HVAC Distribution

Who We Are

All Contractor Marketing is a specialized marketing agency built exclusively for contractors and the HVAC industry. We partner with HVAC distributors and their dealer networks to provide scalable marketing solutions—websites, local SEO, digital advertising, and reputation management—that help dealers grow while strengthening distributor relationships.

Our role is simple but powerful: help distributors add value to their dealers through best-in-class marketing, while helping contractors win more jobs in their local markets.

We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and grow our most important distributor partnerships and the HVAC dealers aligned with them.

The Role

As a Key Account Manager at All Contractor Marketing, you’ll own strategic relationships with HVAC distributors and serve as a trusted marketing partner to both distributor leadership and their dealer networks.

You’ll act as the bridge between distributor programs and dealer execution—ensuring alignment, adoption, satisfaction, and growth. This role is ideal for someone who understands the HVAC ecosystem, is comfortable in relationship-driven environments, and can balance high-level partnership management with hands-on dealer support.

Key Responsibilities

Distributor Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned HVAC distributor partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor leadership, marketing teams, and sales organizations.
  • Represent All Contractor Marketing as a strategic partner—not just a vendor—focused on long-term value creation.

Dealer Network Management

  • Manage relationships with HVAC dealers participating in distributor-supported marketing programs.
  • Guide dealers through onboarding, program adoption, and ongoing marketing success.
  • Ensure dealers understand available marketing solutions and how to maximize their impact.

Program Growth & Adoption

  • Drive adoption and expansion of marketing programs across distributor dealer networks.
  • Identify opportunities to increase dealer participation, engagement, and retention.
  • Support distributor initiatives that align marketing programs with dealer growth goals.

Strategy & Communication

  • Lead regular check-ins, reviews, and strategy conversations with distributor partners.
  • Communicate program performance, dealer feedback, and growth opportunities clearly and effectively.
  • Translate marketing performance and technical concepts into simple, business-focused insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams (web, SEO, paid media, social, support) to ensure seamless execution for distributors and dealers.
  • Advocate internally for distributor and dealer needs, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and proactively.

Reporting & Insights

  • Track key account performance, dealer participation, and program outcomes.
  • Provide structured reporting and insights to distributor partners.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve program effectiveness.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong experience in account management, partner management, or business development, preferably within HVAC, home services, or distribution.
  • Understanding of the HVAC industry, distributor–dealer relationships, and contractor business models.
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills—confident leading conversations with executives, sales teams, and contractors.
  • Ability to explain marketing concepts in clear, practical terms.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on long-term relationship success.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, channel partnerships, sales, or customer success.
  • Experience working with HVAC distributors, manufacturers, or contractor networks is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for distributor meetings, dealer events, or industry conferences.
