We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own and execute social media strategy for All Contractor Marketing’s brand as well as multiple client accounts across the home services industry.
The Role
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing content across social platforms for both our agency and our contractor clients. You’ll balance strategy with execution—making sure content is on-brand, on-schedule, and optimized for engagement and local visibility.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to translate real-world service businesses into compelling social content and can manage multiple accounts without losing quality or momentum.
What You’ll Do
Develop & Execute Social Strategy
- Build and execute social media strategies for All Contractor Marketing and assigned client accounts.
- Focus primarily on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profiles, with support for others as needed.
Content Planning & Publishing
- Create and manage monthly content calendars for both internal and client accounts.
- Write captions, select visuals, and ensure consistent brand voice across multiple contractors and trades.
Engagement & Community Management
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional, brand-appropriate manner.
- Help foster trust and credibility between contractors and their local communities.
Optimization & Best Practices
- Use hashtags, keywords, emojis, and platform best practices to improve reach and engagement.
- Adapt content strategies based on platform changes and performance data.
Client & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with account managers, designers, and marketing strategists to align social media with broader campaign goals.
- Gather and organize client-provided assets such as photos, videos, and promotions.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics including engagement, reach, and follower growth.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to improve results over time.
Stay Current
- Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices—especially as they relate to local businesses and contractors.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts, preferably for agencies or service-based businesses.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Industry Fit
- Understanding of (or strong interest in) contractor, home services, or local business marketing.
Creative & Strategic
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging per brand.
- Solid visual judgment and the ability to work with designers or light design tools when needed.
Engagement-Focused
- Proven ability to create content that drives meaningful engagement—not just likes, but trust and interaction.
Paid Social Awareness (Bonus)
- Familiarity with boosting posts or supporting paid social strategies is a plus.
Organization & Ownership
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing recurring content at scale.
- Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of assigned accounts.
Tech & Tools
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools, basic analytics, and collaboration platforms.
- Experience with Adobe tools or Canva is a plus.
