We’re looking for a Web Account Manager who combines technical website knowledge with strong client communication skills to guide website projects from kickoff to launch and beyond.
The Role
As a Web Account Manager at All Contractor Marketing, you’ll own the website experience for our clients. You’ll lead website builds, landing pages, platform transitions, and ongoing optimizations while serving as the primary point of contact for all web-related strategy and execution.
This role requires someone who understands WordPress and Duda, is comfortable discussing technical concepts like hosting, DNS, tracking, UX/UI, and SEO fundamentals, and can translate complexity into clear, actionable guidance for contractors and internal teams alike.
You’ll collaborate closely with design, development, content, SEO, and account teams to ensure every website delivers quality, clarity, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client-facing website meetings, guiding strategy, decisions, timelines, and next steps throughout the build and optimization process.
- Serve as the primary web subject-matter expert, translating technical topics (WordPress, Duda, hosting, DNS, analytics, integrations) into clear recommendations.
- Oversee website builds, landing pages, platform migrations, hosting transfers, and ongoing website updates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, copy, development, SEO, and analytics teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Review website deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with scope, best practices, and client goals.
- Proactively identify risks, blockers, or scope concerns and drive solutions forward.
- Lead pre-launch QA, launch coordination, and post-launch validation to ensure smooth go-lives.
- Support ongoing website optimization initiatives focused on performance, conversion, and SEO impact.
Experience & Skills
- Strong understanding of website development workflows and CMS platforms, particularly WordPress and Duda.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of:
- UX/UI principles
- Website performance optimization
- GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- DNS, hosting environments, and domain management
- SEO fundamentals and best practices
- Experience supporting analytics and tracking implementations (GA4, GTM, pixels, form tracking).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in client-facing conversations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in web strategy, digital account management, SEO, or a client-facing technical role; agency experience preferred.
- Experience managing website builds or similar technical projects strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus.
